When the link of memory within a photograph is severed, what is left behind?

Photographs that have lost their meaning—

unknown landscapes, the back of someone passing by, traces of light fading into time.

Through the method of “Self-Found Photographs,”

I strip away the original context and significance of each image,

then reconstruct them to reveal emotions that surface in between—

an exploration of a narrative that feels both new and deeply nostalgic.
